Simulation of proton and nuclei detection efficiency in emulsion chamber of Russian-Nippon joint balloon experiment RUNJOB.

Simulation results on proton, He and Fe detection efficiency in
Russian-Nippon joint balloon experiment RUNJOB 1996 emulsion chamber are
presented.
The calculations were made by three-dimensional Monte-Carlo emulsion chamber
simulation tool based on well known GEANT and QGSJET codes. The comparision
with
japanese calculations of RUNJOB'96 emulsion chamber detection efficiency
are carried out. An additional energy threshold of experimental events
detection
procedure influence on detection efficiency is investigated.
